Customer Support & Communication

Keep customers updated while support teams handle requests and service cases.

Service RequestsStatus UpdatesCase Management

Once a problem is reported by a customer and a ticket is submitted, the silence that follows can be almost as frustrating as the problem itself.

Customer support messaging keeps customers informed while their issue moves from request to resolution.

From support request to resolution

Imagine a customer has reported an internet service problem.

Sender: MetroNet Support

Hi Tolu, we've received service request #28491. We're checking the issue and will update you shortly.

Later:

Update on request #28491: a technician has been assigned and is expected between 2–4 PM today.

The customer now knows that something is happening.

If more information is needed:

We need one more detail to continue request #28491. Please provide it here: emisri.link/28491

Once resolved:

Your MetroNet service request #28491 has been resolved. If you're still experiencing a problem, let us know: emisri.link/28491

Different support situations need different messages

1Request received Let the customer know their issue was recorded.
2Status changed Tell them what is happening.
3Action required Give them a direct way to provide information or complete a step.
4Technician assigned Share the relevant visit information.
5Resolved Close the loop.

This works particularly well for support situations where the customer is waiting for something to happen.

Support is different from an outage alert

If one customer reports a faulty internet connection, that is a support communication.

If thousands of customers are affected by an internet outage, the business may need a critical service alert instead.

That distinction keeps individual support journeys separate from wider operational communication.

Where Emisri fits
